Sara L. K. works at the intersection of photography, design, performance, and cinematic forms of expression. Her artistic practice combines conceptual and physical perspectives, exploring the tensions between body, identity, and societal attributions.

Drawing from her interdisciplinary background in design, acting, and visual media, she develops works that engage with perception, transformation, and social structures. She is particularly interested in the interplay of language, image, and body as carriers of meaning and cultural imprinting.

At the core of her work are feminist and sociocultural questions, especially themes such as visibility, physicality, shame, and self-determination. She understands art as a space for experience and reflection, where existing narratives are questioned and new perspectives on societal complexity are opened up.

In 2021, Sara L. K. received an artist's grant from the State of Bremen for her artistic work.
