Julia Weber was born in Bavaria and also works under the names "Von Jott", "82", and "JUICY BIKE STUFF". Growing up in a conservative environment, art quickly became her most important means of expression.
After an apprenticeship in product design, she studied Integrated Design in Dessau with a focus on graphic design. She then worked as a graphic designer at an agency in Ingolstadt.
During this time, she developed her own artistic projects and formats, including a ten-day pop-up store featuring works of constructive painting, jewelry made from natural minerals, garments made from photographically printed fabrics with motifs of her own skin, sculptures made from insect parts, as well as surreal photographic works and edited insect images presented as art prints.
Since 2017, she has lived and worked in Berlin as a freelance graphic designer, product designer, artist, and bicycle courier.
Her artistic practice moves between abstract, organic, and complex forms as well as reduced, graphic approaches. Content-wise, she explores nature, geometry, and consciously provocative themes. Her multidisciplinary work includes collages, sculptures, constructive painting, art prints, installations, illustrations, and jewelry.
Under the label "JUICY BIKE STUFF", she also develops colorful strap systems and accessory solutions for cargo bikes.
