Collection: Giulietta Scheer

Giulietta Scheer (*1987, Bremen) has been exploring the vulva, its diversity, and the associated social taboos in her artistic work since 2017. Her focus is on the body, shame, intimacy, and visibility, as well as social attributions that are inscribed in body images. Her works open up spaces in which perception is shifted and new perspectives on physicality, self-perception, and social norms become possible.
