In the installation "Under Pressure," plaster casts of vulvas are arranged on a mirror and overlaid with various red latex structures. The materials create compression, tension, and a physically palpable constriction, referencing both internal and external forms of pressure. The latex functions as a membrane-like structure: it veils, connects, encloses, and extends the work into space. As a central element, the mirror incorporates the viewers into the composition, making them part of the work. This creates an open field of tension between intimacy, visibility, physicality, and societal attributions.
