Collection: Georg Meyer-Wiel

Inspired by the natural world, his interdisciplinary work spans various media, and his paintings and drawings are a direct physical and emotional response to the world around him.
Since graduating from the Royal College of Art, he has worked as an artist. Major exhibitions have been held at the Hockney Gallery in London, the Henry Moore Gallery in London, the Michael Commerford Gallery in Sydney, and the Kunstmuseum Bonn in Germany. He also works as a costume and set designer for contemporary dance, ballet, film, and opera. His clients include the Rambert Dance Company, the Birmingham Royal Ballet, the Ballet national de l'Opéra du Rhin, and the Australian Dance Theatre.

To share his knowledge, he pursues an academic career and teaches at Regent's University London. He has also been leading workshops at the British Museum in London for 14 years, for which he received the Trailblazer Award from the Campaign for Drawing. Georg lives and works in London.
