Collection: Elin Nielsen

elin nielsen (she/they/no pronouns) lives and works in Zurich. Their material language
is characterized by installations made of textile, plastic, and metal, as well as by
performative works.
At the center of their practice is the body as a socially inscribed place
where power relations, care, and resistance are negotiated. Their works
often move between attraction and repulsion, softness and violence. From a posthumanist and intersectional-feminist perspective, they are particularly interested in moments where normative opposites become unstable and begin to dissolve.
