Collection: Colja Amare Liri

Colja Amare Liri lives and works in Vienna. After graduating as a sculptor from the School for Arts and Crafts and Design in Tyrol in 2024, she increasingly dedicated herself to painting, developing a distinctive, profound artistic language. Following her first wood carving symposium in Brienz, she held exhibitions in Kyoto, including at Gallery Sho and KCIF. Additionally, two of her works were published in the British magazine "Anarkiss Zine – Issue 11: Bodies Without Permission."

In her artistic practice, Colja Amare Liri addresses visibility, social norms, and the marginalization of trans, inter*, non-binary, and BIPoC individuals. She combines wood sculpture, installation, and digital media. Her works question social taboos and rigid societal structures, viewing art as a tool for visibility, solidarity, and social change.
