Carmen San Sebastián Diez del Sel is a Basque-Spanish and Austrian multimedia artist who previously lived in Bilbao and Chicago and now works in Berlin. Her artistic work focuses on the distorted perception of the human body and behavior.

The depiction of people and the scenes shown in her works are shaped by her own nightmares, traumatic experiences, and body dysmorphia, and are predominantly staged in an absurd and humorous way. Sexuality, gender, violence, grief, and death are recurring themes in her works. Her versatile oeuvre includes painting, sculpture, photography, film, and live performance.

Chantal Merfort is a multimedia artist from Berlin and is currently studying Fine Arts at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and Philosophy at Humboldt University of Berlin for her Master's degree. In her most recent works, she explores the history of youth and subcultures in Berlin, primarily through painting and installation. A particular focus is on the political significance of gentrification and the preservation of culturally significant places.

Chantal's artistic practice also reflects a fascination with the cultural significance of urban light in Berlin. She interweaves this visual language with her investigations into memory, identity, and place.

Her academic work focuses on feminist philosophy and care theory. By connecting these two areas, she creates a dialogue between philosophical reflection and visual art.
