STUDIO LÉVEQUE

Studio Léveque stands for queer art in limited, small editions using predominantly traditional printing techniques. The works focus on the male body in the full versatility of (homo-)erotic settings and ask: What makes your heart beat faster as soon as you free yourself from everyday life and so-called "normality"?

"Studio Léveque was founded in 2025 to bring my creativity from the private into the public sphere. My preference is for classic processes, such as linocut, which stand in contrast to today's flood and reproducibility of images. Each print is unique, and the printing plate itself only allows a limited number of prints, all of which are created by hand."

Born in Bielefeld, Westphalia, in 1979, Hamburg is now his home port.
