Collection: Steam

STEAM is a Berlin-based artist who has been intensely involved in drawing and artistic studies since childhood. From puberty onwards, he has explored erotic themes, which continue to form an important part of his work today.

His illustrations are created in various fields and published in a wide range of formats – from smaller works to large-format posters. Artistically, STEAM primarily works with mixed media, combining line drawings with washes to give his works a characteristic, atmospheric effect.

In 2003, he was awarded the main prize in the emerging artist competition by the Tom of Finland Foundation.

In his work, STEAM combines the fantasies of the fetish scene with the fascinating world of ancient myths: leather men meet Argonauts, rubber men meet satyrs, pet players meet centaurs. This creates a unique visual world where modern fetish aesthetics and classical mythology merge in a playful and powerful way.
