He comes from Gdańsk and was born in 1971. His artistic career began in 1991 in the studio of a portrait painter and copyist. He works primarily in oil technique. As a portraitist with more than thirty years of experience, he draws his inspiration from life – from conversations, encounters with people, and expressive, extraordinary faces. He has lived and worked in Gdańsk, Warsaw, Berlin, Bratislava, Copenhagen, and Rome, among others. Since 2024, he has had his studio in Berlin-Lichterfelde. During this time, he joined the queer association prideART Berlin e.V.; under the influence of his new environment, he began to engage with queer themes and expand his portraits to include the (often naked) body. His classical artistic training allows him to pay attention to anatomical accuracy and harmonious proportions – the result is figurative painting that is pleasing to the eye.
