Collection: Maren Steengrafe

Maren Steengrafe (*April 12, 1997) grew up in a small town near Bremen, Germany. During her acting training in Hamburg, which she completed in 2022, she initially discovered photography as a hobby. Afterwards, she worked as a professional photographer in a photo studio and, in parallel, began to realize her own photographic projects.
Her artistic work focuses on the themes of body, queerness, and FLINTA* perspectives and often has a cinematic look. Her works have since been exhibited both nationally and internationally.
Since 2024, Steengrafe has been working as a freelance photographer. For a time, she was a member of the female photoclub, an association that advocates for more visibility, networking, and equality for female photographers in the industry.
