Luca Arfini

I am an Italian photographer and visual storyteller based in Amsterdam. My work explores memory, belonging, identity, nostalgia, and our relationship with places, often through a queer lens.

I work primarily with analog and instant photography and am particularly drawn to their imperfection, unpredictability, and emotional quality. Through observation, encounters, and exploring places, I focus my gaze on intimate everyday moments and the traces left behind by people and memories.
