Enzo Marra
Enzo Marra is a multimedia artist working with painting, assemblage, photography and video. His work is intrinsically linked to the very elements that comprise it. The arrangement ranges from figuratively inspired depictions to spontaneous, abstract and unplanned phenomena.
He has curated exhibitions across the UK including work by a diverse range of artists including Richard Deacon, Alison Wilding and Marcus Harvey. He has also selected work for the Lido Open, the Beep Painting Biennale and the Solo Award.
He has been short-listed for the John Moores Painting Prize in 2012 and 2016, the Threadneedle Prize in 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2016 and the Creekside Open in 2013, 2015 and 2017, where he was a prize-winner in 2017 chosen by Jordan Baseman. He has also been selected for the Beep Painting Biennale in 2014 and 2016, with his paintings being highly commended in the 2014 exhibition.
