The "BeachBoys" comics were published as part of the Kake series starting in 1968. Kake is a highly sexualized, idealized figure characterized by hypermasculine physical characteristics—particularly his muscular physique and an exceptionally large penis. In most stories, Kake is portrayed as a mustachioed "Leatherman" wearing clothing typically associated with the aesthetics of biker culture: a leather jacket, leather pants, knee-high leather riding boots, and a leather peaked cap. He occasionally appears in other frequently fetishized uniforms, such as those of a police officer or mechanic.
