Collection: Rinaldo Hopf

Rinaldo Hopf was born on June 30, 1955, in Freiburg, West Germany, and attended the humanistic Gymnasium there. He studied art, cultural anthropology, and religious history in Freiburg, San Francisco, and Bremen, where he graduated with honors. He worked as a visual artist in San Francisco and Paris (Atelier Dedalo Montali) and also as an art therapist in forensic institutions in San Francisco and West Berlin. Between 2005 and 2015, he was closely connected to the international city of Auroville in South India. He currently lives and works as a visual artist, editor, and curator in Berlin, Casoli, Tuscany, and Los Angeles.
