Collection: Ori Hafner

Ori Hafner is a multidisciplinary Israeli artist and designer based in Tel Aviv. His creative practice is based on an ongoing exploration of the emotional relationship between inner experience and visual expression. For him, painting is an instinctive language—a space where gesture, memory, and material encounter each other.

In his work, he moves between classical painting techniques and contemporary tools, combining influences from graphic design, stage design, and digital media. This hybrid working method reflects the multifaceted nature of his life and work, in which the boundaries between commercial art and personal expression are constantly shifting and mutually enriching.

In addition to his studio work, he works as a visual artist for television and film productions and has extensive experience in graphic design for fashion and textile brands in Israel and Europe. These diverse disciplines often flow into his paintings, which reflect personal narratives through a postmodern lens, combining structure with spontaneity.

His artistic work is driven by curiosity, emotion, and the physical act of making. Each new work begins with the same deep excitement he felt when he first opened a tube of fresh paint—a moment whose smell and feeling lingers in all his work to this day.
