Collection: Nima Javan

Nima Javan is an Iranian-born contemporary painter and multidisciplinary artist based in Liverpool, UK. He holds a master's degree in painting and has exhibited his work internationally in the UK, Europe, and the USA. His artistic practice combines painting, shaped canvases, tufted textile works, and site-specific installations. Inspired by Persian miniature painting, he develops colorful visual worlds full of hybrid beings, symbolic figures, and architectural elements. His works explore themes such as migration, identity, coexistence, memory, ecology, and the relationships between humans and nature. Through poetic and narrative compositions, Javan invites the audience to reflect on shared experiences and imagine new possibilities for coexistence.
