Collection: MY GAY EYE COLLECTION

As part of the release of Mein schwules Auge / My Gay Eye #22, this category brings together the diverse positions of all participating artists.

Under this year's theme “BORDELLO”, an artistic field of tension unfolds between ecstasy and intimacy, between longing and reality. The bordello is conceived as a mythical space – a place where bodies, desire, and identity become visible and manifest themselves in various forms of expression.

The presented works range from photography to drawing to text pieces and reflect the raw, immediate, and uncensored imagery of the yearbook. They show a multifaceted engagement with desire, freedom, and societal boundaries.

For the release vernissage on April 30, 2026, the Newman Gallery itself became a "temple of ecstasy," where over 30 artists presented their works together with the audience. This selection continues this encounter and makes the artistic diversity of the current issue permanently accessible.
