Collection: Michael Großstück

Michael Großstück painstakingly creates hand-crafted paper collages from his own photographs, various scissors, and scalpels. He transports the viewer into his current world of thoughts and feelings; his collages reflect the dualism and polarity in all of our lives: calm and action, fear and hope, light and shadow. His collages are composed like a mosaic of thoughts or interconnected memory bubbles, allowing us to continually discover new, small details, even upon prolonged and repeated viewing. Upon graduating, Michael Großstück initially toyed with the idea of ​​creating a portfolio for art school; his father then convinced him to study "something proper." This led to law studies and years of working in real estate management and as a lawyer. As part of his coaching training, he rediscovered his artistic talent in 2023 and further developed it on a trip to South America in early 2024. Since April 2024, he has devoted himself entirely to art. Michael Großstück has already exhibited in Barcelona, ​​Amsterdam and Bremen, and his solo exhibitions in Berlin were very successful.
