Frank Lorenz lives and works in Berlin. He can still remember how, when he was young, his aunt laughed at him when she asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up. He replied: "An artist!" So, the awareness of wanting to work creatively was present from an early age. Nevertheless, he first completed an apprenticeship as a dental technician, which – according to his own statement – ​​made him extremely unhappy. So, whenever possible, he drove home at lunchtime to paint, even if it was usually only for a few minutes. After completing his apprenticeship and completing his alternative service, Frank Lorenz, who was born in Tübingen in 1973, traveled around the country for several years, living in a car with other artists and creating art. In 2000, he moved to Berlin and enjoyed the big city. But it was clear to him that he had come to Berlin to create art. In the following years, Frank Lorenz trained as a painter, draftsman, and stage designer.
