Collection: Erwin Sovkov

Erwin Sovkov, born in Graz in 1983, found his way to art via a circuitous route. After training in eurythmy and several years in the baking trade and assisting people with disabilities, a dramatic autistic burnout led him to new clarity and inspiration.

Since 2015, Erwin has lived with his husband, the artist Sergey Sovkov. Together they run the "Blue Doves" studio, where Erwin's designs are transformed into unique carpets and works of art. His experience with autism is now a source of creative energy and new perspectives.
