Daniel Leo Stern is a Berlin-based artist and performer. He has spent the last ten years touring as an acrobat and was initially drawn to working with textiles as a way to pass the time backstage during shows. His current work is a series of self-portraits that explores how his own body is perceived, both publicly and privately, and questions the relationship between gender and materials.
