Christopher Lucas Furminger

Christopher Furminger (born 1970 in Lancashire, England) lives and works in Monmouthshire, Wales. After finishing school, he studied Fine Art at Thomas Beckett University in Leeds, graduating with distinction in 2003.

His paintings reflect his life experiences, dreams, and aspirations as a gay man who witnessed the AIDS epidemic and the changing societal attitudes. The narrative component is underscored by the use of colors and patterns.

His works have been presented at numerous solo and group exhibitions, as well as at Pride events, and sold internationally to collectors. Currently, they are available at the Claudia Castillo Gallery in Florida (USA) and a local gallery in Monmouth (Wales).
