Collection: Balberocci

Balberocci (born 1993 in Terni, Umbria) is a self-taught Italian artist who grew up in Amelia. Influenced by his mother, he consciously began painting in 2016 as a path of self-exploration. His style, which he describes as "melancholic from the gut," connects humans and animals in a blend of wildness and tenderness, in which bodies are surprised by their own existence. Today, he lives in Perugia, works as an agronomist in a tree nursery, and continues his artistic research in parallel. He uses the artist name Balberocci to create distance from the often restrictive everyday life.
