Corinna Egdorf is a body artist and cultural scientist.
Damian Martinez Dreyer is a feminist photographer living in Berlin.
Corinna Egdorf expresses her criticism of the prevailing patriarchy by connecting the cruel fairy-tale aesthetic of the anatomical Venus with postmodern femicide photography.
In doing so, she takes a stand against the failures of politics, police, and doctors, which cause women to suffer and die. Her body art is a response to femonationalist statements such as 'abortion smarties' (Spahn), 'lady without a torso' (Söder), or 'city daughters' (Merz) and the systematic discrimination and sexual assault, especially of neurodivergent women.
