His film \u003cem data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"761\"\u003eThe Bed Sausage\u003c\/em\u003e is still considered a cult classic today.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"788\" data-end=\"1196\"\u003eTo date, von Praunheim has made over 150 films, which have been screened at international festivals and received numerous awards. His work includes feature films and documentaries on topics such as queer identity, AIDS, New York, as well as portraits of influential personalities.
